Perfect Handheld Iron
I recently purchased the Tefal Handheld Clothes Steamer DT8250, and it has quickly become an essential tool in my laundry routine. This steamer is incredibly user-friendly, with a quick heat-up time that gets me going in just 25 seconds. I appreciate how lightweight and portable it is, making it easy to tackle wrinkles on the go or store away without taking up much space. The powerful steam output effectively smooths out even the toughest creases, and I find it particularly handy for delicate fabrics that I wouldnât want to put through a traditional iron. The vertical steaming option is a game-changer for curtains and larger itemsâno need for an ironing board!Another highlight is the steam lock feature, which allows for continuous steaming without having to hold down the trigger, making the process much more comfortable. The detachable water tank is easy to fill, and the anti-calc feature ensures that maintenance is a breeze.Overall, the Tefal Handheld Clothes Steamer DT8250 has exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient, effective, and versatile, proving to be a valuable addition to my home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their garment care!

Powerful but won’t replace traditional iron
Shorter Version: It does what it is designed for very well; that is to steam garments. The microfiber attachment is very good at removing dust, lint and even hair whilst protecting the delicate fabrics. I use this steamer daily for my work suits and even after several years of wear, my suits are in excellent condition. This is not going to replace your iron, but after a bit of experience, you might find yourselves reaching for this instead of your iron.Long Version: It took me a few seconds to decide on this purchase; having previously owned the Tefal Steam+ for over 8 years. The Steam+ was not flawless but worked well until it’s accidental death did us part. This new and supposedly improved model has little to tell apart from his predecessor, if not for the evenly spaced holes on its face as opposed to the vacant impression like slot on the Steam+ and its name stamped on the forehead. But I digress; this is meant to be a review of Tefal Access Steam Force and not a comparison.I have used this steamer to iron my non-iron cotton shirts, on an ironing board, and whilst the results were comparable to the steam generator iron that I normally use, it took about twice as long. Though, not due to the lack of power, but because of the small size of the heated soleplate. Well, size does matter after all.But when it comes steaming vertically, this handheld steamer literally steamroller the wrinkles on most clothes like t-shirts, chinos, jeans, suits, blazers, wool coats etc. and does it so much better than a traditional or even a steam generator iron. The microfiber head protect the delicate fabrics and also prevent that unsightly shine on suits and darker colours, that is unavoidable with a traditional iron.I use this steamer daily to refresh my work suits and using the turbo option cuts down time and effort sufficiently that I don’t mind having to refill it often. On turbo, the 200ml tank runs for little over 5 minutes. The normal mode would extend the run time to just under 8 minutes. The microfiber attachment removes the dust as well as the lint, whilst the steam de-wrinkle and refresh the clothes. I didn’t need to get my suits dry cleaned in a long time, thank to this (and it’s predecessor) steamer.Having a good few years of experience with such handheld garment steamers, I learnt that deionized water (not distilled, softened or tap water) works best as not only it keeps the steamer limescale free which in turn keeps the steam flowing steadily, it prevents the hot sprays and staining of the clothes. In 8 years, I never had to descale my steamer or the iron. A 2.5L bottle is about pound fifty from ‘every little helps’.The cable is 2.5m which I found to be adequate for my use, albeit shorter than Tefal’s other handheld steamers. The biggest issue is the size of the water tank but I suppose that’s to keep the operating weight manageable.

Works well!
I bought this product because I donât like ironing. This works perfectly well for a daily use, especially on lightweight fabrics like t-shirts or cotton products. Please note that this is bigger than the comparable products, so better for house use than travel

Perfect for one-off steaming!
I bought this knowing it’s handheld and therefore won’t have a long run time. I recently moved to a small apartment when I’m trying to be conscious of space-saving and didn’t want to worry about finding a place to keep an ironing board. Not all my clothes come out the dryer creased and I only needed something that would smooth out the item I wanted to wear that day. This steamer is honestly perfect. I’m super happy that I made sure it was a 2000W steamer as it was the power I needed. I didn’t want to risk the more aesthetically-pleasing ones that compromise size and performance. If you want a thoroughly decreased item of clothing, then you will go through the entire tank, but I honestly didn’t need anything more than this. Perfect for daily one-off items! The only downside is that it doesn’t come with an ironing glove for your other hand so you can firmly get a grip of the underside of the clothing to guide the steamer down. This does make holding sleeves out a little more fidly, as to avoid being burnt by the steam, but after a few items, you learn to adapt.

Item seems not new/ used before
The item seems to work fine seems to have been used before as one of the pads is worn and short hair was found inside stuck to the appliance.

Overpriced, Cheap Materials
The steam iron is overpriced at about £70, probably not worth more than £20 because of the cheap materials it’s made from. The water bottle has some cheap flimsy cap which doesn’t want to close and the ironing board which comes with the steamer is too small, quite useless really. This item is considerably overpriced.

Great clothes steamer iron.
The wife loves it to pieces, so quick.
