amazing makeup, not so amazing brushes
I honestly only purchased this for a few of the eyeliners and blushes…however i did use all products so i could write a fair review, and i was very happy with all the make-up in here, the eyeliners come in a lot of colours all of which show up and stay quite nicely, they dont clump or look thick if you apply them properly. The blushes are light and show up more than you may expect so i would suggest starting out with a light application, they do however have a chemically sort of smell to them, I checked the ingredients and there is nothing to be scared of in there tho so don’t worry about this, the smell is also only when they are in the tubs, once applied there isn’t enough for the smell to carry. the nail varnish works very well, nothing different that average nail varnish. The eye pencils in this kit where what really surprised me as I was expecting them to be cheaply made and very oily and not opaque enough, however they were very strong, they show up immediately and dont require you to keep applying, they are also quite difficult to get off (for me this was a good thing), i use the red for waterlines when doing special effects and it works amazingly well. So why 4 stars? The brushes, I never for one moment planned on even using them because i only purchased this kit for half of the things in it but i know most people buying this kit but it for the kit as a whole, and that is why 4 stars, the brushes are cheap, they are plastic and so badly made, the synthetic fibre is cheap and gets out of shape just by bending them (this should never happen with brushes, the bristles should always go back into place), if you are buying this kit then throw out the brushes because you will get horrible results, all of the makeup is awesome but the brushes are not, i still recommend this if you have your own brush set already
