A great way to save on drying laundry
Was a bit sceptical about these as wasnât sure how good they would be but Iâve got to say Iâm very impressed with the results. The airer isnât heavy & is very easy to set up.You have to balance your laundry equally or it wonât dry & May tip up.Unfortunately the cable is really short so unless you stand it next to an accessible electric socket you will need an extension cable. Also the on/off button is in an awkward place so you have to be careful when turning it off not to catch your hand on the hot bar as itâs underneath when open. The bars get hot but not so they can burn.I use this to dry the laundry after giving it a short tumble dry first so theyâre damp but not wet. I canât comment how it dries washing from wet.I have finished drying 3 lots of laundry in a few hours. I didnât hang the clothes on it but spread them out over the top m, rotating them as they dried. The cost is very reasonable too, approx 4p per hour so thatâs a big saving. This is definitely an addition to drying laundry indoors and will pay for itself in no time.

Great fallback drying option!!
A very solid but light item, easy to assemble, store and move. Heats up very quickly. Larger items being dried will need moving maybe a couple of times during the drying process for better finish. For a modest initial cost, and extremely low ongoing running costs, this should be seriously considered at the very least as a fallback drying option for many particularly if poor prolonged weather prevents outside drying or for smaller loads even if you have a dryer for economy reasons. Am very happy with my purchase a few weeks after trying it out for the first time.

Good for small and thin items
I have purchased this item because I tought it would solve all of my problems. But it wasn’t like this. My clothes wouldn’t dry inside at all. In September UK it is not cold enough to turn on the heating , but neither hot enough to keep the house warm. Clothes would stay on the airer for days without drying. The dryer is quickly to set up, it heats up pretty quickly. The downside is that it dries only where the bars are, as seen in the picture. I have tried to put a bed sheet on it to try and speed up the process, but with no good outcome. You would need to lie them piece by piece and flat on the bars , not hanging from it. Even so , you need to go back and turn them constantly. For me it seems like a waste of energy and of my time. I expected to just leave it there, clothes hanging , and for them to be dry in a few hours. If the clothes are almost dry , it can speed up the process a little bit.The room where it stays in gets a bit warmer so that is a plus. For a family of 4 , with 2 boys who gets muddy clothes each day after school, didn’t help. For a smaller family that doesn’t do much washing it may be a good fit.

Flimsy
Worked initially but side arm supports are made of cheap plastic and broke after a few uses. Company have not responded to my complaint

Great airer cover
Itâs different from the one shown on the telly as it doesnât have a zip but otherwise does the job by keeping the heat in well and cutting down on drying time – folds up ok when not required

Game Changer
I dry my washing in doors all year round and this is great. I also use a dehumidifier which I highly recommend doing otherwise you will make the air very damp inside your home. Both items are very low energy consumption so are much cheaper to use than a standard tumble dryer. My bathroom becomes the laundry room at night on wash day when the electric is 1/3 of the price. You have to lay the items on top of the airer (not hang over the bars as shown) as it only drys where it is in contact with the clothes . You will also have to refold and move items around to get them fully dry. Once used to it though it is still much faster than a standard dryer as I am able to get 1 full load dry within 24 hours which would normally take about 3-4 days.

good but a bit small
while its size is not an error nor it is misleading, just be aware of it when you order, this is MUCH smaller than non-electric airers. its quality is fairly good and does its job but being made of weak plastic it feels very fragile, hence the 4 stars only. if thats something you can live with, its a perfectly good warm clothes airer
