Very Impressed
After reading reviews I wasn’t sure about it, but as you can see from the photo the airer is plenty big enough. Hubby is 5ft 10. I dried one full wash load in 8hrs with the cover on, my washer is 1600 spin speed, so that might help. It wasn’t rammed full i spread everything out. Then I dried a king size cotton duvet over the top with no cover with a KS sheet an pj’s inside, in 4hrs so I’d say it’s pretty good at drying. It’s really easy to put up, and folds easily flat. But its not easy to move once up, so set it up where its staying until theyre dry. It’s definitely going to save money i think it’s about 9p per hr now energy prices have risen, i checked on the smart meter, but much cheaper than tumble drier or putting the heating on all day. I have to say I’m impressed. Worth buying.

Worth the money
Iâve been looking at the heated airers for years but the Lakeland ones are so expensive. This one seemed a good, cheaper alternative with good reviews. Iâve started using it, it heats up very quickly and with the cover it dries the clothes well. At current energy prices itâs costing me about 10p per hour to use. I often leave it on for a few hours and then turn it off and leaves the clothes to dry naturally overnight. The only downside is the condensation that builds inside the cover and drips over the floor. Obviously this canât be helped but thatâs why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend and buy again.

The best purchase I’ve made all year
When I set this up for the first time, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it as it doesn’t fit as many clothes on as a standard clothes horse, but this thing is bloody amazing. Where clothes would take 3 or 4 days to dry on a normal airer (we don’t have the heating on high even in winter) which is obviously a pain, this would take 1 or two 2 days. Folds up nicely when not in use, doesn’t take up as much space as a standard airer, clothes aren’t knocked off all the time because it’s covered, and the cover keeps the heat in when it is being used. I recommend using a scented dryer sheet in this, just to help the clothes smell nicer, but overall this thing is an absolute lifesaver when it comes to laundry in the winter

Disintegrating cover
The product over all is good however the cover that contains the heat disintegrates as you touch it. Completely useless for an important part. Overall, poor workmanship.Still awaiting for replacement after logging issues with company/ supplier.

Great product
Got this prior to the arrival of our new baby. Good price compared to other similar products and with cover included too, which keeps the heat in and speeds up the drying process. Use every couple of days, uses much less energy than a tumble dryer and dries baby clothes much quicker than if they were just on a normal airer. Very happy with this purchase. Easy to put up/fold away when not needed.

It made a pop sound and isn’t working
It was relatively good, held a good amount of clothes. However, it made a pop sound and is no longer working. We haven’t had it for a full month. It alway felt flimsy but that took the cake.

A great investment
This airer has made so much difference in my home. I was worried at first that it wasn’t sturdy enough but it holds up to 2 loads of washing and when used with the cover it definitely reduces the drying time. I’ve had no problems with condensation from the cover. I highly recommend it.

330W, not 220W. Running cost higher than advertised.
Nice sturdy unit, easy to assemble. Putting the cover on can be a bit of a faff and the cover does accumulate moisture on the inside so not sure how effective this is for drying. Running costs are low but not as advertised. Item was listed as 220W power rating costing 4p an hour to run. Item is actually 330W and will cost 11p an hour (based on an average charge of 34p/kWh). Not a deal breaker as still cheaper than a tumble dryer.
