Good Washing Line
Good washing line, easily put up and down, lines have stayed taught so far.Sturdy and good quality, would not fault it.Only issue is the ground spike is not big for support, and the diameter of pole does not fit most ground spikes so be careful if buying a separate ground spike that its specifically wide enough diameter to fit.

We had this same rotary model for over 17 years previously, it is excellent. Quite simply, a quality product.I had made a solid concrete ground anchor for it in the lawn years ago, so I wanted the same width pole, which is 40mm by the way. I didn’t want to re-dig anything.After a bit of research I was surprised to find the same model and it fitted straight away. I was made up.After use, I can cover it, (no new cover comes with it, which is a bit annoying) and simply store it away until required.Highly recommended.I can’t believe I’m so happy over a rotary washing line.I would recommend taking the time to make a decent concrete ground anchor, use the plastic sleeve that comes with it, and ‘hey presto’. It even comes with a rubber bung to keep out rain water and detritus.

Love the quality size easy to assemble . However I find it difficult to put up and down with out gettting caught in line I am 5.3 I had a previous rotary dryer didnât seem to have this problem definitely recommend just be aware

Basic (30ft) model fits into parasol base
Having a back yard laid entirely of flagstone, I bought this rotary specifically to fit into my existing parasol base, which it does very nicely. The inside diameter of the base is probably 42mm and I struggled to find either a line post or a rotary slim enough to fit it. So, to some extent, this was Hobson’s choice being the only thing I could find below about 50mm; though I was happy to buy quay and glad I did. With an upright pole of 35mm it is more than a comfortable fit, and a bracket in the base allows us to tighten it up. Apart from being able to move the line to wherever I want, fitting it like this means I have control over its rotation (this basic rotary is not designed to rotate, except due to its fit within its holder), to make life a bit easier when hanging the washing up. We have a very heavy/sturdy base, but still the whole thing has toppled in high winds. I’ve mitigated this by hanging the heaviest items towards the middle, and then stopped it entirely by feeding the rotary upright through the hole in the picnic table with the base underneath. I was worried that by not sinking into the ground it would be too high for me to load clothes onto, but I can reach all of it perfectly well (I and 5’4″).On the product itself, it is very light to carry to and from its place of use and it opens and closes seemlessly. There is more hanging space than I feel I could ever need (so far, never more than 2/3 full and that’s without using all of the adjacent lines to give items more air room). The quality could not be better and the product arrived quickly. Good value, in my view.A great alternative to a fixed/retractable line, which has allowed us to avoid drilling holes into our walls or digging a hole.

A great rotary dryer for the young and healthy
This is a very well made item, probably the best we have ever had, and does the job well. But it is very hard work if you are ancient and arthritic and after 18 months we are going to have to replace it with a less difficult model. It is not “compact”, it is big, if Brabantia made a really compact version we would probably buy it. First of all you have to get the extra metal spike and bash it into the ground (aided by a spirit level) as the supplied tube is useless. The dryer rotates well in this ground spike as it is a made loose but there is no leaning problem. However the whole unit comes out of the ground as you apply the upward force to raise it. You have to grab the pole with one hand and hold it down while you raise the arms with the other hand — but we need two hands for the raising. The final clipping into the raised position is very hard indeed, a three hand job, and we thought it was because of the tension in the cords so we purchased the re-cord kit with the very clever joining pieces. We re-corded the whole thing to be less tight. Waste of time and money as it is still very hard to raise and we just cannot leave it in the upper position because of space problems. If it had been really compact we could have left it in the raised position. So do not buy this excellent item unless you have a lot of space and are really fit, it will give you good exercise.

Je suis très satisfait de ce séchoir rotatif Brabantia Essential ! Il est parfait pour s’étendre le linge à l’extérieur avec un minimum d’espace. Les cordes antidérapantes et résistantes aux UV sont de haute qualité et assurent un séchage efficace2. Le système de tension parapluie est facile à utiliser et permet de tendre les cordes uniformément. De plus, l’anneau de suspension robuste rend le rangement simple et pratique2. Je recommande vivement ce séchoir à tous ceux qui cherchent une solution de séchage de linge extérieure fiable et durable.

Die Wäschespinne ist eine ideale Lösung für klein Garten mit dem Durchmesser von 2m nehmt sie nicht so viel Platz. Die einzelnen Leinen sind nach dem aufstellen sehr gut gespannt. Durch die Wäsche hängen sie nicht extrem durch und bei nächten Einsatz wieder wie neu. Meine Frau ist sehr zufrieden. Meine Meinung, da es in den Bauhäusern oder im Internet nicht so viele Angebote gibt mit dem Durchmesser ist für mich Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis völlig Ok. Meine alte Bodenhülse benutze ich auch für einen Sonnenschirm und sie hat einen Durchmesser von 40mm. Das Rohr von der Wäschespinne hat aber 35mm Durchmesser. Problem gelöst siehe beigefügte Bilder.
